Michael Cerza ’80, Music for a Perplexed World (New World Productions, 2011)

As both composer and performer on his piano CD, Music for a Perplexed World, Michael Cerza says his aim was “to create a personalized, resonant space in which listeners can both remember their own stories and conceive fresh, new beginnings.” Cerza lives in Austin, Texas, where he teaches in the education department at St. Edward’s University. He also gives private lessons for trumpet and drum.
