Alumnus Added to Football Hall of Fame
This spring, Jeff Wittman ’93 made history by becoming only the second Ithaca Bomber ever to be elected to the College Football Hall of Fame. A three-time all-American, Wittman broke 16 rushing and scoring records in his career as a fullback for the Bombers. In 1991 he led his team to the Division III national title, scoring three touchdowns and earning MVP honors.
Today, Wittman teaches physical education at his alma mater, Gates Chili High School in Rochester, New York. He will be officially inducted this August in Atlanta.
