Ithaca is Shredded
Hundreds of skateboarders took over Buffalo Street one day in May for the fifth annual Ithaca Skate Jam. The city closed the street to car traffic all day to let people ride their skateboards down the super-steep hill with a 15 percent grade. Comet Skateboards added features like ramps so skaters could catch some air. There were prizes for overall style and individuality given out by secret judges.
