Dozens of students from IC’s School of Business and Roy H. Park School of Communications interned at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, Korea. Sport management majors from the School of Business assisted with various venue operations and also spent a week learning about sports and Korean culture, visiting a sports television network, and attending a class with Korean sport management students. Park School students assisted NBC with the broadcast by choosing what shots would be shown on television and inserting ads into the broadcast.
