Ithaca College ended the winter sports season in ninth place in the National Association of College Directors of Athletics (NACDA) Directors' Cup standings. The NACDA Directors' Cup standings are determined by a school's finish in NCAA playoff competition in each sport.

Ithaca, who placed second in last year's standings, is one of 10 schools to have placed in the top 10 in each of the award's first six years.

The Bombers currently have 422.5 points, following a winter season that featured three teams finishing 11th or better. The women's basketball team tied for ninth nationally after reaching the regional semifinals and the women's swimming & diving and women's indoor track & field teams both placed 11th. Ithaca also received points from the wrestling and men's indoor track & field teams (who placed 23rd and 55th, respectively). During the fall season, Ithaca's men's and women's cross country and men's soccer teams all participated in NCAA championship events.

Developed as a joint effort between USA TODAY and NACDA, the NACDA (formerly known as the Sears Directors' Cup) program is the only all-sports competition that recognizes the institution in NCAA Divisions (I, II, and III) and the NAIA with the best overall athletics program.
