If you would like to improve your communicative abilities within an atmosphere of fellowship and fun, then Toastmasters is for you. Feel free to join us and see for yourself.
Ithaca College Toastmasters meetings are held bi-weekly from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm. The purpose is to meet with others in a congenial and supportive environment and learn to
- Improve speaking, listening, thinking, and leadership skills.
- Discover hidden abilities and bring latent talents into use.
- Obtain an expanded vision of the communication role.
- Increase self-esteem through active participation in personal development.
- Give and receive practical evaluations as you practice speaking.
Lose your fears of public speaking, have fun, and learn skills that will help you be more successful in whatever path you've chosen in life. Members work towards earning their Certified Toastmaster designation (CTM) and other advanced honors.
Anyone interested in learning more is invited to attend as a guest. Why not come and see what all the buzz is about?
