Women's HeartAdvantage

Ithaca College is providing shuttle service to the Women's HeartAdvantage Forum on Tuesday, September 16. The forum will be take place 1:00-7:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn. Shuttle service will be available 12:50-4:30 p.m.

Staff and faculty interested in attending the forum should meet at the flagpole in front of Textor Hall. The last shuttle is scheduled to leave the Holiday Inn at 4:30 p.m. to return to the College.

As we reported to you earlier, Ithaca College is working cooperatively with the Cayuga Medical Center, Borg-Warner Automotive, and other local employers to sponsor the Women's HeartAdvantage Forum. The event is designed to increase awareness of heart disease, to assist people in recognizing symptoms, and, most importantly, to reduce people's risk.

The forum will include speakers, health screenings, lectures, demonstrations, and massages, to name just a few items. It is free and open to the public.

We hope you'll join us at the Holiday Inn on September 16.
