Join us for an evening with Daphne Kwok on Tuesday, October 28, at 7:00 p.m. in Textor 101 -- a fun, interactive, current affair: "Asian Pacific American Political Trivia Pursuit."

Don’t miss this opportunity to hear a speech by Daphne Kwok, a leader who has been at the forefront of advocacy for the Asian American community for more than 15 years. Kwok, the executive director of the Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies (APAICS), will be speaking about Asian American issues and about her involvement with various Asian Pacific American organizations nationwide.

Along with Kwok’s experience with APAICS, she was also the executive director of the Organization of Chinese Americans (OCA), a nonprofit civil rights organization with more than 10,000 members. Kwok testified before the Congressional Asian Pacific Caucus during the Wen Ho Lee investigation.

This event is free and open to the public. Please encourage your students to attend.

Sponsored by the Asian Culture Club and the Center for the Study of Culture, Race, and Ethnicity (CSCRE).
