Don’t miss this opportunity to hear a speech by Daphne Kwok, a leader who has been at the forefront of advocacy for the Asian American community for more than 15 years. Kwok, the executive director of the Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies (APAICS), will be speaking about Asian American issues and about her involvement with various Asian Pacific American organizations nationwide.
Along with Kwok’s experience with APAICS, she was also the executive director of the Organization of Chinese Americans (OCA), a nonprofit civil rights organization with more than 10,000 members. Kwok testified before the Congressional Asian Pacific Caucus during the Wen Ho Lee investigation.
