The Ithaca College football team (8-2) has been selected for the NCAA playoffs. Ithaca is seeded sixth in one of four seven-team brackets and will play at third-seeded Brockport (9-1) at noon on Saturday, November 22.

The winner of that game advances to the second round to face either Allegheny (7-3) or Montclair State (8-1) on Saturday, November 29 (Allegheny plays at Montclair State this Saturday). The site of that game will be determined by the NCAA later this week.

Tickets for Saturday's game will be sold by Brockport on the day of the game (gates open at 10:30 a.m.; no advance sales) for $8 (adults) and $4 (students).

Ithaca is facing the Golden Eagles for the second time this season, having beat Brockport 31-10 on October 18.

This will be IC's 14th appearance in the NCAA playoffs. The 1979, 1988, and 1991 teams won national championships.
