On Monday, December 1, Ithaca College Dining Services is hosting its second annual Culinary Showcase. This event will include a vendor fair, presentations of a variety of culinary arts, and an "Iron Chef"-like competition in the evening .
The vendor fair will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Emerson Suites. Many vendors will be giving out samples of their products. This year, a registered dietitian from Sodexho will be available to answer questions regarding nutrition, diet, or other health-related issues.
At approximately 5:30 p.m., the third annual Chef’s Challenge will begin. This year, the competition will be between Ithaca College Dining Services, Cornell Dining Services, and another Sodexho team. The judging will be done in categories that include plate presentation, taste, technical skills, and originality.
Both of these events are free and open to the entire IC community. Come enjoy the food and fun!
