Caroline Silby, coauthor of the book, Games Girls Play: Understanding and Guiding Young Female Athletes, will be presenting a general session on Thursday, December 4, at 8:00 p.m. in Textor 102. Admission is free.
Silby is an expert in sports psychology and a former nationally-ranked figure skater. She will offer solutions for handling the stresses of competition, performance improvement, and self-esteem building. The presentation is open to all and could be especially useful for parents or coaches of young girls.
