You are invited to join in holiday events at Longview on December 9 and 19.
Tree Trimming -- Tuesday, December 9, 3:00-4:00 p.m., in the Longview auditorium. Volunteers would be assisting residents with tree trimming and also visiting with residents. The time would be about one hour. If people are interested in this and want to contribute refreshments, that's great. This could be a large or small event, depending on how many people would like to get involved. I would appreciate knowing who would like to do this as I need to plan on refreshments. Santa Party -- Friday, December 19, 6:00 p.m. If you can't make the Santa party and would like to donate a small gift, please wrap your gift (and label it for a man or woman) and drop it off in my office in 119 Administrative Annex. We all had a great time last year. Bring your children; they will enjoy visiting with the residents of Longview. The gifts are a big help -- Santa arrives and passes them out. We will pass out candy canes for the residents and sing carols. Any refreshments you could donate for the party would be appreciated. You can drop them off at my office and I will get them over to Longview.
What a fun evening to visit and sing with the residents at Longview.
