13th Annual Erg-a-Thon to Get Under Way

The Ithaca College Crew will conduct its annual Erg-a-thon to raise funds for the Tompkins County United Way and the team's upcoming spring trip.

The Erg-a-thon is scheduled for Friday, January 30, from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. in the north foyer of the Campus Center. Team members will keep six rowing machines spinning after having raised pledges for the cause.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the United Way of Tompkins County. The remainder will be used to help the student-athletes pay for their spring training week in Georgia. The team's goal is to raise at least $3,000. Contributors, spectators, and guest rowers are all encouraged to participate.
