The Ithaca College Jewish Studies Program invites you to apply for funding in support of your teaching and research in any area related to Jewish history or culture -- broadly defined to include all academic disciplines.
We especially encourage studies and projects that do any of the following: cross disciplinary boundaries, illuminate Jewish cultural diversity, and investigate historical and contemporary encounters and relationships between Jews and other cultural groups.
Curriculum development might include the creation of a new course focused on a topic related to Jewish studies, or it might involve the introduction or enhancement of Jewish-related content in appropriate courses or in the curriculum as a whole.
Support is available for ongoing research projects or for the initiation of new ones.
These grants should be seen as supplements to the financial support already available through faculty travel allowances and grants for research and curriculum development (see the Faculty Resource Guide for details).
