IC Spring Bus Trips Lineup Announced

Spring is coming, and hopefully soon. For those who feel they just can't shake the winter blues, we have some exciting bus trips planned that should help get rid of what ails you.

For the month of March, we'll journey to the Seneca Niagara Casino in Niagara, New York. You can sign up right now for the trip, which will be Saturday, March 27, 2004. Cost is $30.00 per person and includes the bus ride, $10.00 in food coupons, $10.00 in coins to use at the casino, and $3.00 to use at Keno.

You must be 21 years of age to enter the casino. The casino requires all passengers to have a picture ID with them in order to receive a Seneca Players card. Niagara Falls is only three blocks from the casino.

Our itinerary:

  • Leave campus O lot at 7:00 a.m. -- Thruway stops will be made going both ways
  • Arrive at the casino at approximately 10:30 a.m.
  • Departure from the casino: TBA

    The road trip in April will be our annual spring voyage to New York City.

    Spend a day on your own in the Big Apple where you can visit Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty, go shopping, or see a show. Take your family and friends for a fun day.

    This spring's trip will be Saturday, April 24, 2004. Cost is $35.00 per person. Contact Sue Vrzal at 274-3133 to sign up beginning March 1, 2004.

    The bus will leave O lot, behind the Park School, at 6:00 a.m. We'll stop on the way down at the Krispy Kreme Donut Shop in Clark's Summit, Pa. We'll also have movies going down and on the return trip.

    The bus departs from New York City at 8:00 p.m.
    Other bus trips we have planned for this year include:
  • June 26 -- Hershey Park Amusement Park in Hershey, Pa.
  • July 16 -- Six Flags Darien Lake
  • August 1 -- New York Yankees vs. Baltimore Orioles (if you're interested in this trip, call Sue soon as she will need to plan on how many tickets to reserve)
  • August 29 -- New York State Fair
  • October 10 -- Seneca Niagara Casino
  • November 27 -- Holiday bus trip to NYC
  • December 19 -- Holiday Bus Trip to NYC
    • All IC bus trips are open to students, staff, faculty, friends, and family. Also, all trips are open to Longview friends. More details on the bus trips will be available soon.
