Sylvia McNair
Equally at home at Lincoln Center or the more intimate Rainbow Room in Rockefeller Center, Sylvia McNair's performing repertoire embraces classical and cabaret, opera and Broadway musicals. Her lifelong love of American musical theater has been recently showcased in appearances in Chicago, Cleveland, New York City, and Washington, D.C. The multifaceted McNair has sung in a Vatican performance of the Bach B-minor Mass with the Vienna Philharmonic for Pope John Paul II and presented a recital at the U. S. Supreme Court at the invitation of Justice Sandra Day O'Connor. McNair has also appeared at Covent Garden, the Salzburg Festival, and the Metropolitan Opera and has been a regular guest soloist with major American and European orchestras.
Ted Taylor
Whether on the stage accompanying the world's preeminent vocalists or in the pit conducting a varied repertoire of operas and musicals, Taylor has delighted audiences worldwide. In addition to appearances with McNair, Eileen Farrell, and other top singers, Taylor has conducted several American opera companies including the Metropolitan Opera and the Lyric Opera of Chicago. In addition, he assisted composer Tan Dun in preparing for the premiere of Marco Polo in Munich.
