Senior Award Nominations Sought

The Office of Multicultural Affairs invites Ithaca College community members to nominate an outstanding graduating senior for one of four awards to be distributed at the OMA Senior Toast, which will take place Saturday, May 15, 2004, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The awards are as follows:

Chavez/Lorde Social Justice Award
Chawla Ochoa Academic Achievement Award
Chung Thorpe Leadership Award
Dubois Mandela Award for Scholarship, Leadership, and Service

To qualify, students need to be ALANA (African American, Latino/a, Asian, or Native American), LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender), or participants in an OMA program.

To nominate someone, go to OMA's spring events calendar at https://www.ithaca.edu/oma/oma_viewcal.html, download a nomination form, and return it to our office by this Friday, April 9, 2004. Detailed descriptions of each award appear on the form.
