The Office of Multicultural Affairs will host two events that replace the April awards reception.
We are inviting friends and families of OMA graduates, as well as the campus community, to join us on two occasions when OMA seniors will be recognized with awards.
The first, in honor of our lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and allied Ithaca College seniors, is the Rainbow Reception for Graduates, to be held Friday, April 30, 2004, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the Tower Club. This reception is open to the campus community and invited guests, with RSVP required by April 16. Please call the OMA LGBT Center at 274-7394 for details.
A second festive event will be held on the weekend of Commencement, honoring a number of award winners and celebrating all OMA graduates' achievements. The campus community is invited to join with family and friends for our OMA graduation reception on Saturday, May 15, in Emerson Suites A and B from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. to honor OMA seniors. Awards will be given at 1:30 p.m. RSVP by calling OMA at 274-1692 by May 7.
And looking toward the fall -- mark your calendars for yet another opportunity to applaud when OMA students are recognized. The Professionals Symposium Awards Dinner will be held Saturday evening, October 2, 2004, during Homecoming Weekend. Students will receive kudos for academic achievement, leadership, and community service.
