Victor H. Mancini was honored for outstanding contributions at a national convention.
Professor Victor H. Mancini (health promotion and human movement) received the National Association of Sport and Physical Education Curriculum and Instruction Academy's emeritus honor award at the recent American Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance national convention in New Orleans.
Presented to retired faculty, this award recognizes individuals who have made "outstanding contributions to curriculum and instruction research and practice in physical education." During his time at Ithaca College, Mancini was instrumental in developing the curriculum and instruction lab and providing leadership in the department's professional preparation programs in health and physical education. He also served as a mentor to many graduate and undergraduate students in our programs.
