Habitat for Humanity at Ithaca College is celebrating HabiFest for all of April. HabiFest is a time dedicated to spreading awareness of the international and domestic need for more affordable, livable housing.

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, nondenominational organization working to fulfill this need by building affordable housing in partnership with those who lack adequate shelter.

The next Habi-fest event is the Habitat Auction, happening Tuesday, April 20, at 7:00 p.m. in the pub. We’ve amassed amazing items to be auctioned, with all proceeds going toward our goal of sponsoring a Habitat house. Items to be auctioned include gift certificates to restaurants like Just a Taste, Simeons, and Maxie’s Supper Club. We have two all day lift passes to Greek Peak, ceramic pottery from Dynamic Patterns Pottery Studio, and theme baskets, including an herbal tea basket from the Maté Factor café.

Don’t miss emcees Ram Calley and Dana Malone, the music of a string quartet, and a photobooth to capture all the memories! Families, staff, faculty, and students are all invited to attend.
