Elizabeth A. Ruckert '05 and Christopher Lynch '04 were presented with William A. Scoones Community Service Awards for 2004.
President Peggy Williams made the presentations at the annual Celebration of Service recognition event on Friday, April 16. This award is given annually to two students who exemplify community service, both on and off campus.
Ruckert, a physical therapy major and gerontology minor, was nominated by Assistant Professor Patricia Lynott at the Gerontology Institute. Ruckert's parents were on campus to share in this special recognition event. Lynch '04 is biology major in the School of Humanities and Sciences.
