Help us check out recent improvements to off-campus ftp access.
If you access Pulsar or Nova from off campus via an ftp program or via the Novell FTP web service (https://www.ithaca.edu/computing/novellftp/), you have probably noticed that this service has not been reliably available for much of this semester.
We attempted a number of "fixes" during the semester, and after some recent network configuration changes we believe we have restored this service. However, it would help to have broader confirmation from the campus community that this service is once again working from off campus.
If this is a service that you normally use please give it a try and contact the Helpdesk if you encounter difficulty. Reports of success are welcome also.
