Ithaca Sports Bring IC to the Nation

Ithaca College sport clubs reached new heights this past academic year.

Seven sport clubs represented IC in regional, national, and even international competition. Some of the highlights include:

• Darrin Bann of the equestrian team won Zones and finished fourth in the nation at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Associations' national show.
  
  
• The dance team won the Eastern Regional and will be competing in the United Dance Association championships this fall.
  
  
• The women's ski team finished 14th in the United States Collegiate Ski Association national championships.
  
  
• The women's soccer team finished third in their pool at the National Intramural and Recreational Sports associations' regional playoffs.
  
  
• Kim Saunders of the tap club qualified for an international tap competition to be held this summer in Florida.
  
  
• The women's volleyball team finished third in the National Intramural Recreational Sports Associations' national collegiate club championships and the men's volleyball team finished twelfth.
