1999 Chevrolet Lumina for Sale

The Ithaca College purchasing department is offering for sale the following vehicle released from the college fleet on a sealed-bid basis.

This vehicle will be sold in as-is, where-is condition without guarantee and without any expressed or implied warranty. It may be inspected Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the physical plant parking lot off Coddington Road. Please see Morgan Swanhart at the physical plant fleet garage at the same location if you have any questions.

Complete service records and bid forms are available at the purchasing department, 1414 West Tower, the physical plant reception desk, or by printing the bid form included with this notice of sale.

All sealed bids should be submitted to: Gail Wagner, Ithaca College Purchasing Department, 1414 West Tower, Ithaca, NY 14850 by 3:00 p.m., Friday, June 25, 2004.

Ithaca College reserves the right to reject any or all bids. All bidders will be notified by the purchasing department as soon as possible after the bid closing date.

The successful bidder is responsible for payment to the Ithaca College purchasing department by certified bank check made payable to Ithaca College (no personal checks) prior to picking up the vehicle. The vehicle must be removed from the College premises within one week after notification and purchase. No New York State sales tax will be added to the sale price; sales tax must be paid to the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles when registering the vehicle. A bill of sale, New York State affidavit of sale, title, keys, and service records will be given to the successful buyer after payment at the purchasing department.

1999 Chevrolet Lumina, light pewter metallic exterior with light gray cloth interior, 92,000 miles, 4-door sedan, front wheel drive, 3.1 liter V-8 engine, automatic 4-speed transmission, 4-wheel anti-lock brake system (option), AM/FM stereo cassette radio (option), carpeted floor mats front and rear (option), power door locks, power windows, driver and passenger airbags, A/C, cruise control, rear window defogger. EPA reported 20 MPG city and 29 MPG highway. General condition of vehicle is good. Engine, transmission, body, interior, and tires are all in good condition.
