Attention IC sports fans, friends, alums, and supporters -- the fifth annual Most Valuable Partner (MVP) Golf Scramble is scheduled for Monday, August 9, at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course of Cornell University. Shot gun start is 8:00 a.m. with check-in beginning at 7:00 a.m.
The cost of $125 per person covers greens fees, cart, gift, door prizes, skins, luncheon, snacks, and beverages on the course. The College MVP program was formalized in 2000 by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics in an effort to form relationships with our friends on campus and in the local and regional community. Funds raised have greatly assisted and supported the needs of our 25 varsity and 4 JV teams and close to 700 student athletes.
The MVP Golf Scramble has grown each year with 32 teams and over 125 golfers participating in the 2003 event.
