John Fracchia, assistant director/recruiting coordinator in the Office of Career Services, was recognized by the Eastern Association of Colleges and Employers (EACE) with a presidential citation for outstanding volunteerism and service within the organization and the profession.
Presidential citations are given to individual volunteers who go beyond the responsibilities they were charged with and who implement new directions and contribute significantly to the association.
Over the last three years John has been an active participant within the EACE organization, where he serves as chair of the Technology Resources Committee. According to the EACE president, Marianne Tramelli, "John has wonderful vision for the use of technology within the association. It has been a pleasure and a privilege to see his vision unfold in a way that serves our membership and contributes to the mission of EACE. Over the past two years, John's expertise and hard work has contributed to taking EACE from the dark age to the information age. Fortunately for EACE, John has agreed to continue in his role as chair for the Technology Resources Committee."
In addition, John has also been very willing to step up even at the last minute to volunteer and assist with other major projects and programs that enable the organization to move forward.
