Harold W. Emery Jr., professor of history, died on Saturday, September 11, 2004.
A faculty member in the School of Humanities and Sciences since 1963, Professor Emery had taken ill at the beginning of the fall semester and was in the hospital at the time of his death.
A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, September 17, at 3:00 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church.
