The Office of Academic Achievement and Advising Services is pleased to announce the availability of a website describing the services of 25 offices on campus that provide academic support services for students.
Faculty members and students are invited to make use of this listing of services.
Academic Achievement and Advising Services
The AAA website is divided into two listings -- Achievement Services and Advising Services. Some offices provide both types of service and are included in both listings. A description of the services of each office is provided, along with the names of contact persons, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, office locations, and office hours, as well as links to each service's own website.
The AAA website is designed to help faculty advisors and students find academic support services appropriate to their needs. The AAA Committee hopes that the academic community finds this to be a helpful website. As we plan further development, we welcome your suggestions for improvement. Please send them to David Dresser, coordinator of Academic Achievement and Advising Services.
The website was developed by the "Triple A" Committee under a 2003-4 New Initiatives Fund grant from the Office of the President. The AAA Committee is a group of 11 administrators, 3 faculty members, and 2 students who meet monthly to enhance academic achievement and advising services on campus. The primary architects of the AAA Web site were assistant professors David Brown (math & computer science) and Marlene Kobre (writing).
