As the result of a small chemical spill on Thursday, October 7, the Center for Natural Sciences (CNS) will be closed until further notice. All classes and other activities scheduled for CNS have been cancelled at this time.
The spill occurred on the third floor of the building at about 9:15 a.m.; six employees who were on the floor at the time were taken to Cayuga Medical Center for observation as a precaution. There were no students on the floor when the spill occurred.
Once the cleanup is completed, the College will announce when the building will be reopened.
