Mike O'Connor, community outreach coordinator for the New York Public Interest Research Group (NYPIRG), will be a guest speaker on Friday, Nov. 5, for the Sustainable Politics course. The lecture will be held at 4:00 p.m. in Williams 303.
O'Connor has been actively involved with grassroots organizing, lobbying efforts, and policy development on alternative energy issues in New York State. As a result, he has been closely involved with NYPIRG's wind energy program. The public is invited to attend.
