12/05/04

The Center for Faculty Excellence is offering two events to conclude the semester -- a reading by Sarah Jefferis and a workshop on grading.
- Grading concerns preoccupy most faculty members at this time. The basic message of the grading workshop is "Don't!" The workshop is on Tuesday, December 7, 12:10-1:00 pm in the Clark Lounge of the Campus Center.
- This is the last week of classes, and the Center for Faculty Excellence concludes the academic year with a reading of poems and an essay by Sarah Jefferis, English and writing. The reading is on Thursday, December 9, 12:10-1:00 pm in the Klingenstein Lounge of the Campus Center.
For those who cannot attend the workshop, we will begin a conversation on grading on the e-mail discussion list ICTeach. To join the list, go to Ithaca College Mailing Lists, enter the list name, and select the "Subscribe" button.
Both the workshop and the reading are informal and open to the entire campus community. You are welcome to bring your lunch; coffee and treats are provided.
For more information, see the Center for Faculty Excellence or contact Susanne Morgan.
