This scholarship will be awarded annually to a rising sophomore, junior, or senior in any one of the five schools or in the Division of Interdisciplinary and International Studies at Ithaca College.
The scholarship is intended to provide financial assistance to a student who has an unpaid summer internship or one that only pays a transportation subsidy, in the Washington, DC, area. The internship may be credit bearing or not credit bearing. The recipient must be in good academic and judicial standing, with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better, demonstrate financial need as determined by the Ithaca College Office of Financial Aid, and have a current FAFSA on file. Confirmation of the offer and completion of the unpaid internship will be required.
Applications for this award will be distributed and available at the dean's offices of the five schools and the Office of Career Services. The deadline for application is March 15, 2005. Applications must be returned to the deans for their recommendation.
Students interested in applying for this scholarship may obtain an application from the dean's office in their school or from the Office of Career Services.
This award is made possible through the generosity of many members of the National Capital Alumni Club.
