Jim Ryan, professor of biology at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, will present "Conservation: Top Down or Bottom Up? Examples from Africa." His visit, the latest in the Department of Biology's seminar series, will be on March 3 at 4:00 p.m. in room 112 of the Center for Natural Sciences.

Everyone is welcome to attend. Refreshments served beforehand (3:45-4:00 p.m.) in first floor lobby. Please bring your own reusable mug for beverages and remember: reuse, reduce, recycle!

The biology department offers a seminar series each semester representing a broad range of topics in biology. These seminars are open to the entire college community. Refreshments are offered prior to the seminar. Students are invited to meet with the speaker in a small group following the talk to answer questions related to the topic presented, or to answer questions regarding different careers in biology.
