The annual Bursar's Benefit Auction is a month away, and already we have received limited editions within our donations. The band Guster has donated a CD not available in stores, and Henry Winkler (the Fonz) has donated 4 items, including an autogrpahed Fonzie t-shirt (1 of only 13 in the world) and an autographed Happy Days cast collector's card (1 of only 1800 issued and signed).
New donations are arriving daily, and here are some samples of our new items:
Autographed items from celebrities such as Five For Fighting, Paul Newman, Jim Kelly (Buffalo Bills star), and Wheel of Fortune have been received recently.
Local donations include Cayuga Chamber Orchestra tickets, a one-month membership at Curves for Women ($188 value), one-night stay for two, including welcome basket, gift certificate for Six Mile Creek Winery, and Cayga Wine Trail, DVD from Holiday Inn, 2 lbs of coffee from Mayer's Smoke Shop, and a weekend getaway in the newly refurbished suite at Super 8 Motel.
We also have many gift certificates including donations from Dino's Hair Styling, Dottie's Ice Cream, Dryden Wine & Spirits, Juna's Cafe, and Michaleen's Florist and Garden. Theme baskets are also being received and include dog and cat baskets, a gardening basket, a baby basket, separate child's baskets for girls and boys and a "Fun in the Sun" basket in a beach bag.
Don't let these items get away from you! Plan now to attend our auction and block it off in Corp Time! The benefit auction will be held on Thursday, April 14. Silent auction preview and bidding begins at 10:00 AM and ends promptly at 12:15 PM. The live auction will follow from 12:30 to 1:30 PM. All proceedings will take place in the Campus Center's Clark Lounge.
