Four Students Honored by National Broadcasting Society

Student producers Matt Antalek ’06, Jaime Foster ’06, Dan Shott ’06, and Rachel Webster ’06 were selected as finalists in the video documentary category at the National Broadcasting Society's 2004-2005 awards ceremony for their documentary, Mad Cow Crusaders.

Mad Cow Crusaders profiles two individuals struggling to inform the public about the dangers of mad cow disease. Associate professor Ben Crane was executive producer of the film.

The National Broadcasting Society (NBS) is comprised of more than 1,500 college students on campuses across the United States. The mission of NBS is “to enhance the development of college and university students involved in broadcasting, cable, Internet communication, telecommunications, and other electronic media."
