Skott Freedman '01, from the Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, has been awarded an NIH-NIDCD training grant fellowship that will fund his joint doctoral program at the University of California-San Diego/San Diego State University for fall 2005.
He will be presenting research on oral-motor control and effects of attentional focus at the Clinical Aphasiology Conference in May 2005, Sanibel Island, Florida.
Freedman was also awarded an NIDCD student fellowship that will fund his travels and expenses. While at Ithaca College, he majored as a teacher of students with speech-language disabilities.
