On Sunday, April 17, Raquel Wright '04 was crowned the 2005 Miss Jamaica Universe.
Wright will compete with 87 young women from around the world for the world's most prestigious beauty title Miss Universe, in Bangkok, Thailand. The international coronation telecast takes place on May 31. The title is currently held by Jennifer Hawkins of Australia.
