Psychology Students Present at Conferences

Psychology students made twenty-two presentations at two recent meetings, the Eastern Colleges Science Conference and the University of Scranton Psychology Conference.

Students from the Research Teams of Leigh Ann Vaughn, Andrea White, Nancy Rader, Mary Turner DePalma, Cyndy Scheibe, and Barney Beins presented the results of their research at these two recent conferences. In addition, students conducting independent research with Hugh Stephenson and Judith Pena-Shaff presented their work. The topics were diverse, including research on

  • health issues
  • infant cognition
  • humor appreciation
  • judgment and decision making
  • body image
  • voting behavior
  • cognitive well-being
  • college student development
