Faculty and staff volunteer speakers are needed for the ongoing, monthly lecture series held at Longview.
These are informal presentations that last about an hour. Topics can be academic in nature, related to areas of personal interest, hobbies, or travel experiences. Poetry readings, slide shows, and performances are also welcome. An appreciative audience is guaranteed!
Longview -- a retirement community located across the road and up the hill from campus -- and IC have been engaged in a very successful programmatic partnership since spring 1999. This lecture series began that spring and has continued to the present time. These presentations are much anticipated and appreciated by the Longview residents.
