It is with a great deal of sadness that I inform the campus community of the death of one of our students. Kimberly Chu passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 22, in her residence hall room.
Kimberly had been working this summer as a building manager in the Campus Center. A graduate of Germantown Friends School in Philadelphia, she was a sociology major at the College.
Members of the campus community may gather at Muller Chapel at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, to support one another and to meet with counselors and the chaplains. Anyone in immediate crisis over the weekend can call the Office of Public Safety at 274-3333 to be put in touch with the on-call counselor. Counseling Center staff can be reached during regular business hours at 274-3136.
We extend our deepest sympathies, as well as our thoughts and prayers, to Kimberly’s family, friends, and classmates.
