John Fracchia, Assistant Director for Employer Relations in the Office of Career Services, was recognized by the Eastern Association of Colleges and Employers (EACE) with a presidential citation for outstanding volunteerism and service within the organization and the career development profession. This is the second year in a row that John has received a citation for his outstanding volunteer work and leadership within the association. John was recently recognized at the annual convention in White Plains NY.
Presidential citations are given to individual volunteers who go beyond the responsibilities they were charged with and who implement new directions and contribute significantly to the association. Over the last four years John has been an active participant within the EACE organization, where he serves as Chair of the Technology Resources Committee. This past year John contributed to EACE by redesigning the Association web site to be a more user friendly experience, better recognize association sponsors and create a greater community feel.
EACE is the largest regional association of career services and human resources professionals, serving over 1,100 employer, college, affiliate, student, honorary, and retired members from Maine to Virginia. Their mission is to develop strong working relationships and promote the exchange of ideas and information through professional development programming and networking opportunities for members concerned with the career development and employment of the college educated.
John’s leadership continues within the organization. He was recently selected as the Chair of the Public Relations Committee for the association for the year ahead.
