Peggy Williams and Shelley Semmler (vice president for institutional advancement) invite all faculty, staff, and students to join them for a special advance screening of the new short feature film A World of Difference: Stories from South Hill. This very moving feature is part of a full-featured DVD produced entirely by Ithaca College faculty, staff, students, and alumni. It will be used at a series of events around the country to bring our alumni, parents, and friends up-to-date on today's Ithaca College. We would like to share this special project with you first!

In Ithaca and around the world, IC students are turning the lessons of the classroom into real-world experiences and changing the lives of others. Our students are taking their IC educations to places like Antigua, Los Angeles, Singapore, London, Australia, and the White House. They’re following a tradition of excellence by teaching in the nation’s schools and performing in the world’s top concert halls.

Today’s Ithaca College is best illustrated by the stories of our students, faculty, and alumni. The new feature, A World of Difference: Stories from South Hill, tells five of these stories and illustrates exactly what makes an IC education unique and compelling.

We invite you to join President Peggy Williams for these special preview events held on the Ithaca College campus. President Williams will introduce the film and share her thoughts and insights on exactly what makes Ithaca College so extraordinary, and Shelley Semmler, vice president for institutional advancement, will provide a brief update on plans for the College's first-ever comprehensive capital campaign. Please make time to participate in one of these very special events for our campus community!

To see a brief preview of the feature, please visit the website below. Registration is not required for the special campus preview events on November 2 and November 3.
