On December 5, 2005, New Jobs for New York, Inc., will host a Collegiate Job Fair, entitled Project Make Your Professional Mark, at the Oncenter Complex in Syracuse, New York.
New Jobs for New York, Inc., is hosting this important event in coordination with Lockheed Martin, the Metropolitan Development Association of Syracuse and Central New York, and the Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce. The Job Fair will be a unique opportunity for students enrolled in New York State colleges, universities, and community colleges to meet with representatives from the State's leading companies that are seeking qualified individuals for jobs and internships.
New Jobs for New York, Inc., is a charitable organization conceived by Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton and dedicated to economic development in New York State. Senator Clinton will deliver the Job Fair's keynote address and will moderate a panel discussion comprised of successful young professionals from across New York State that will explore the advantages of living and working in New York. Participation in the Job Fair is FREE to all students, and students may pre-register for the event, submit their resumes, and schedule initial interviews with individual companies online at http://www.newjobsforny.org. Students who do not pre-register, but are interested in scheduling an initial interview on the day of the event, may do so via a sign-up sheet at each company's booth. Students may also choose simply to submit their resumes to company representatives, or browse the booths and learn more about the exciting job and career opportunities that are available throughout New York State.
