A farewell reception for Paula Mitchell, Director of Admission, will be held 4-6 pm, Thursday, December 15th, in the McHenry Lounge of the James J. Whalen Center for Music.
Faculty, staff and students are invited to attend. After 16 years of incomparable service to Ithaca College as Director of Admission, Paula will be leaving in January to assume her new roll as Director of the U.S. Office of Higher Education for the Council of International Schools (CIS). CIS is a global organization with offices in the U.K., Spain, Australia and the U.S., and additionally includes staff based in France, Italy and Singapore. Paula will head their U.S. Office of Higher Education (soon to be relocated to Ithaca) which provides services to over 460 college and university members worldwide and connects institutions with university ready students and with international guidance and educational advising communities worldwide.
