Ithaca College sent four students to compete in the Lincoln Douglas debate division at the tournament. The team competed in both the open and novice division. Reustle's 4-2 preliminary record qualified her for the elimination rounds where she lost on a 2-1 decision in the final round to a debater from Lafayette College. Reustle, who competed in the novice division, also received an award for being the second best speaker in her division. With a noteworthy performance was Charles Sheldon who competed in the open division and finished with a 3-3 record in the preliminary rounds.
