Longtime administrator Kristen Ford has accepted a position at Cornell University. A reception in her honor will be held January 19th from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Alumni Hall conference room.
It is with a combination of pride and sadness that I announce Kristen Ford has accepted a new position at Cornell University. Kristen will be a Project Team Leader focusing on two major initiatives as part of the Cornell Campaign -- a focus on Undergraduate Education (including the Residential Initiative) and an effort to generate support for several programs grouped under the umbrella of "Business, Leadership, and Enterprise." Kristen has been a tremendous ambassador for Ithaca College during her 19 year tenure, and a wonderful colleague to many, not only in Alumni Hall, but across the entire campus. Most recently, Kristen has served as Director of Special Campaigns, heading up the Athletics and Events Center Campaign for the past three years, and previously served as Director of Athletics and Recreational Sports from 1999 to 2003. Kristen is known for her dedication, persistence, intelligence and good humor. Her last day with us will be January 20. We will all miss Kristen a great deal, and we wish her all the best in her new position. A reception in her honor will be held Thursday, January 19th from three to five pm in the Alumni Hall conference room. Please stop by to thank Kristen for her many contributions to the College.
