An additional MLK learning opportunity has been added to the week's schedule, a film showing at noon on Tuesday in IC Square.

Martin Luther King Jr., a film from the Great Americans series prepared by Encyclopaedia Britannica, combines interviews with three of Dr. King`s closest friends -- Benjamin Mays (president of Morehouse College and mentor to Dr. King), Andrew Young (civil rights movement activist, UN ambassador, and mayor of Atlanta), and Harris Wofford (aide to President Kennedy for civil rights issues) -- plus his widow Coretta, with documentary footage to describe MLK's leadership in the Civil Rights Movement, his growing commitment to economic justice, and his principled opposition to the Vietnam War.
