Congrats to Kevin for getting the outreach proposal out in time for approval from Marsh W. White Awards: Physics Outreach Grant. The funds will create a “Physics Circus” that will regularly visit local middle schools in the Fingerlakes Region.
The Physics Circus will be run by the Society of Physics Students members. This will give them hands-on experience teaching physics. The Physics Circus will cover topics in mechanics, optics, electricity, and magnetism, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics.
