The vice president for finance and administration is pleased to announce that a search for the new leader of the Office of Human Resources is underway. The associate vice president for human resources will direct the work of the Departments of Benefits, Employment and Employee Relations, Training and Development, Compensation and Design, and Human Resource Information Systems.
In addition effective with the appointment of the associate vice president, the payroll department will become part of the Office of Human Resources providing for a one-stop center for all issues relating to employment, benefits and payroll matters. We anticipate the successful candidate will join the College sometime during the summer.

We are seeking a dynamic individual who will lead the College in all aspects of the human resource function to position it as a work place of choice. The required qualifications for the position are a bachelor’s degree and 10 years of extensive experience in human resource management, demonstrated ability to manage the design and implementation of human resource programs and services, demonstrated leadership skills, extensive management and supervisory experience, excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, proven ability to work with a community of diverse individuals and groups across departments and schools, and the ability to effectively represent the College. A master’s degree, SPHR certification, and experience working in a college or university setting are preferred.
