The AIDS Working Group is bringing the AIDS Memorial Quilt to Ithaca College again this February. Look for the display in Emerson Suites February 19th-22nd. We are also seeking volunteers to help; see the body for more information!

The AIDS Memorial Quilt is the largest on-going community art project in the world, and part of the Quilt is coming to Ithaca College! Each panel was made to remember the life of a person lost to AIDS. We hope you take this unique opportunity to participate in this powerful experience as a viewer or volunteer. The quilt will be displayed in Emerson Suites February 20th – 22nd from 11:00am-8:00pm, and there will be an opening ceremony on February 19th starting at 7:00pm in Emerson Suites.

We are looking for volunteers to help during the opening ceremony, facilitate group viewings, read names, and help out with general display tasks. Please contact Casey Malsam at cmalsam@ithaca.edu or 274-1662 if you would like more information or to volunteer. Volunteer training sessions will be held during the following:
Tues Feb 7th 12pm in Clark Lounge
Wed Feb 8th 7pm in CC Conference Room
Thurs Feb 9th 7pm in Kling Lounge
Wed Feb 15th 5:30pm in CC Conference Room
